Die beiden Männer waren im September 1941 auf einem Bahnhof in der Nähe der Stadt Thorn aus einem Transportzug entkommen und hatten beim Ehepaar Schejner für eine Nacht Zuflucht gefunden. Zwei SA-Männer, zur Unterstützung der deutsche Gendarmerie abkommandiert, finden die geflohenen Kriegsgefangenen bei den Schejners in der Küche und verhaften sie.<br /> <br /> Am 11.Mai 1942 findet der Prozess statt, der 2.
